The most reliable, popular, accurate of all our semi-automatic .22LR firearms, the AR-15 brings the form factor of the centrefire AR-15 to a smaller calibre, ideal for new shooters. The AR-15 was originally developed by Armalite (hence the designation ‘AR’) in the 1950’s and that name is collectively used to describe all rifles based on this design.
The AR-15 pattern of rifles, including the US Military’s M4 and M16, is usually chambered in .223/5.56 NATO. Our rifle is capable of semi-automatic fire. That means it fires one shot every time you pull the trigger without the need to manually cycle the action.
Chambered in .22LR, it offers minimal recoil (this is the same round that you shot in your basic package with the Ruger 10/22). Enjoy plinking at close range and experience the look and mechanics of a rifle used by many Western militaries!
